Getting Started

  • Homeschool Awakening

  • Why Should I homeschool and what are the advantages?

    1. God will reveal Himself strong. Train your children in your beliefs and values and have the ability to address their questions when they have them.
    2. Foundation in family relationships- You can build intimate and meaningful relationships with your children allowing you to share the common everyday joys of life and help them mature through the difficult times they encounter.
    3. Individualize education based on need-you will have the ability to control and maintain a pace that meets your child's needs based on their learning styles. Interacting one on one with your child allows in-depth personal attention in any subject with which they struggle or excel.
    4. Time management-create a weekly schedule that fits your family's need and allows you to do things without the constraint of a traditional classroom schedule.
    5. Direct influence over peer relationships-you can protect your child from the negative influences they may encounter outside the home.
